Japanese Blog Project!

  I chose another listing practice vlog because I learned a lot about Japanese culture from the last one. In this vlog I was able to recognize a couple of vocabulary words and sentence structures that we have been working on in class through this video. I also found it interesting that most people in Japan, well in Tokyo,  use either bikes or trains as a mode of transportation. Which is different from what I am use to. 

shopping at a Japanese supermarket   Unlike a lot of people, I really like shopping and I enjoyed this video because it gave me a point of view of what it would be like to shop at a Japanese supermarket. I also got a chance to hear about the Japanese culture surrounding Christmas. For kids they are excited for the presents but for teenager/young adults it is kind of like valentines day because they use Christmas as a chance to find dates. Most people in Japan also like to eat chicken on Christmas; I found this fact interesting because in America, unlike thanksgiving, we don't have a certain protein that we eat for Christmas.
